This photo was taken on my up to a very high viewpoint near Vang Vieng, Laos.
While staying in Vang Vieng I rented a scooter so I could scout the nearby area and as a big fan of viewpoints, when I heard there is one nearby I just had to go and see it for myself. Problem was that I didn’t come prepared for such a hike up a mountain and it was just a little too hard for me and my flip flops so I had to cut it short.
But, before I made it down I managed to get this shot. I made the sky black and white and lowered the saturation in the middle in order to emphasize the green on the right and left sides which helps to “box” the photo and gives it a more dramatic look which I really like.
